2011 JCHS SOFTBALL PRE-GAME MEAL FORM (8/3)
Available below is the 2011 Pre-Game meal form that is required of all JV, Swing, and Varsity players. For each away game on the schedule that the team utilizes the bus and leaves directly from school, pre-game meals are provided. These meals are box lunches prepared by local restaurants such as Quiznos, Chick Fil-A, Jason's Deli, etc. Brenda Ruth is the meal coordinator for the 2011 season and she will collect the forms and checks and also secure volunteers for each of the pre-game meal dates. Meal orders will be placed by Brenda prior to game day and volunteers will pick up the meals and deliver them to the bus departure area for handout to the players as they board the bus. Please download a copy of the form, complete the required information, and return to Brenda with a check made out to "GAA". Coach Nicholson will post the JV and Varsity rosters by the middle of next week at which time you will know how to complete the form. It is possible some players will be designated as "Swing" players meaning they will dress out with the JV and Varsity. The form needs to be completed based on which of the 3 player categories your daughter falls once the rosters are finalized.

2011 JCHS SOFTBALL PLAYER TRYOUT INFORMATION FORM (4/4)
Players interested in trying out for the 2011 JCHS fastpitch softball program should complete the player interest form below and email to Coach Nicholson as soon as possible. The form should be completed by new players (entering freshmen, transfer students, or students that did not play in 2010) as well as returning players from the 2010 program so that we can take into account all interested players when making team and uniform decisions. 2011 GHSA AND JCHS MANDATORY SOFTBALL PROGRAM FORMS (4/4)
The following Georgia High School Association (GHSA) and JCHS forms are required from each athlete prior to participation in the JCHS fastpitch softball program. Completed forms must be returned to Coach Nicholson at the start of softball tryouts on Monday, August 1st (do not mail, email, or fax the forms prior to 8/1, please have your child bring the completed forms with them to tryouts). Additionally, Johns Creek High School has adopted a code of ethics which all athletes are expected to follow. This form must be downloaded, signed by player and parents, and returned to Coach Nicholson. The fourth form link is a player photo permission form. Unless one of these forms is on file for a player, no photos of that player may appear on any of the JCHS web sites. Please download, sign, and return this form to Coach Nicholson or to a JCHS Diamond Club Board Member so that your photo preference for your child can be placed on file.

2011 JCHS PLAYER PARTICIPATION FEE FORM (4/4)
JCHS has established a standard player participation fee of $300 for all sports for the 2011-12 school year (this fee has remained unchanged since its inception with the opening of Johns Creek HS in Fall of 2009). The player participation fee for all softball players participating in the 2011-12 program is due on or before August 6th. Please download the softball program player participation fee form below, complete the form, and return with your check made out to "GAA" in the amount of $300 per player to the JCHS Diamond Club treasurer, Jim Thorn, at the address below at any time following team selection on August 2nd but prior to Volunteer Day on August 6th.

Payments may be returned to any booster club Board member or mailed to treasurer Jim Thorn whose mailing address is noted above in the Participation Fee news item.

GLADIATOR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP PACKET (5/22/09)
The Gladiator Athletic Association (GAA) announced today the membership program for the 2009-10 school year. Families joining the GAA are able to direct 70% of their membership fee to one or more sport clubs of their choice. Athletic programs at JCHS do not receive any funding from the school or the county and must be financially self-sufficient. Player participation fees for all sports are capped at $300 per player which covers only a fraction of the cost of athletic participation. Our goal for this season is for all softball families to join the GAA at some membership level. To join the GAA, download the membership packet below, complete the form designating your sport club contribution for Softball, and then return the form to Jim Thorn, JCHS Diamond Club treasurer, along with your check.
