REGION & STATE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT BRACKETS/SCHEDULES RELEASED (POSTED 9/14)
The Region 5-AAA softball tournament schedule/bracket has been released along with the GHSA softball tournament schedules for the first & second playoff rounds as well as the championship series in Columbus, GA. The seedings for the Region 5-AAA softball tournament are based on the standings from regular season sub-region play and the top 4 teams from the Region tournament advance to the first round of the state playoffs. Region 5 is paired with Region 8 for the 1st round of the state playoffs in the AAA classification. The Region 5-AAA tournament will take place October 5th - 8th and the first & second rounds of the state playoffs will take place October 13th - 16th with the championship tournament in Columbus scheduled for October 22nd - 24th.

JCHS LADY GLADIATORS 2009 FASTPITCH SOFTBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED (REVISED 9/16)
On Tuesday, 3/3, Coach Nicholson released the 2009 Lady Gladiators 5-AAA sub-region schedule. The schedule includes games with each of our 7 sub-region opponents with 4 home games and 3 away games. The Lady Gladiators will face off with perennial Region favorites St. Pius X and Riverwood in consecutive games on 9/10 and 9/15. On Wednesday, 3/11, Coach Nicholson released a schedule update for the Lady Gladiators that reflects the addition of non-region games and tournaments. The schedule was revised on Friday, 4/17, to reflect the Kell Invitational Tournament games. Please note that the varsity schedule was revised on Wednesday, 8/5, to reflect the Region mandated game start time of 5:30pm for all Region 5-AAA contests and to reflect the elimination of Tuesday, 9/8, as a sub-region game night which impacted 6 sub-region games on the schedule. LADY GLADIATORS JUNIOR VARSITY SCHEDULE (REVISED 9/10)
Coach Nicholson released today the preliminary and initial Lady Gladiators Junior Varsity schedule for the 2009 season. Additional games will be added to the schedule as they are confirmed. BUFORD INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE RELEASED (5/27)
The Buford Invitational tournament schedule has been released - click on the link below to download a copy of the schedule. Pool play commences on Wednesday, 8/26, with the Lady Gladiators playing West Forsyth (@ Creekview HS). The Lady Gladiators play two games on Friday, 8/28, to complete pool play. At 4:30pm, JCHS takes on Creekview and at 7:30pm JCHS finishes pool play against Union County. Both Friday games will be played at Creekview High School. The location and times for Saturday games will be based on the results of pool play.

KELL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE RELEASED (REVISED 8/12)
The Kell Invitational tournament schedule has been released - click on the link below to download a copy of the schedule. Pool play commences on Friday, 8/14, with the Lady Gladiators playing Kennesaw Mountain and Ringgold as part of Pool F. The results of pool play will be used to seed teams into Gold, Silver, and Bronze divisions for play on Saturday, 8/15. All Friday games will be played at Sandy Plains Park. The location for Saturday games will be based on division placement following pool play.
